Inspiron 580sを完全停止させ、数週間後に起動しようとしたが、起動せず、電源緑ランプさえもつかない場合、 電源のコンデンサーが古くなっている可能性が高い。この場合、すぐに電源を交換するのでなく、通電したまま、数時間待ってみる。すると、古いコンデンサーでも、徐々に充電され、起動レベルまで復旧することがある。

When trying to switch on Inspiron 580s after few weeks of total shut down, Inspiron 580s sometimes does not start with no green power light on.  In such case, it is likely that condenser of power unit got old.  Instead of replacing the whole power unit, try waiting for few hours connecting to power supply.  Then old condenser is gradually charged and recover up to the activation level.
